Quick hits for the month:
- Marketing webinar: AASPT x Orthopedic Section session on increasing brand awareness for residency/fellowship programs β September 14 at 6 PM EST (register required).
- Program marketing: Residency/fellowship programs should complete the survey ASAP to have info and interview dates published by the Academy.
- Residency deadlines: RF-PTCAS applications open 9/15; initial interview offers go out 12/1; MATCH rank lists due 2/22/27.
- Volunteers needed: Prior SCS Exam question writers, email [email protected] to help update the SCS Exam Prep Course practice exams.
- Save the date: Annual Sports PT Residency Webinar, Wednesday, September 30 at 9 PM EST β panel of current sports PT residents (register required).
- Research: Two new Sports Performance Enhancement SIG reviews β countermovement jump/qEEG readiness testing, and prior hamstring strain injury's effect on muscle morphology and sprinting biomechanics.
- Spotlight: St. Luke's Sports Medicine fellowship (Boise, ID) β 12-month, 1 fellow, MATCH-participating.
