The American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy is home to ourĀ Specialization Committee. Our mission is to provide a forum to foster professional relationships amongst sports certified specialists to advance the discipline of sports physical therapy practice. We aim to uphold this mission through research, advocacy and excellence in specialty education & patient care.
The Specialization Committee is responsible for providing the most up-to-date information for physical therapists interested in:
- Initial sports specialization
- Maintenance of sport specialization
- Sports fellowship practice and sub-specialization
- Professional development
