AASPT Mentorship Program

Grow together in sports physical therapy.

About the program

One Academy. One mentorship community.

The AASPT Mentorship Program is a centralized, Academy-wide mentorship program designed to deepen member engagement, strengthen leadership development, and elevate professional practice — reinforcing AASPT as the premier professional community for sports physical therapists.

Cohort-based

Join a connected group of peers and mentors who move through the program together.

Monthly meetings

Each mentor and mentee pair connects one-on-one every month.

Quarterly sessions

Group gatherings for networking, education, and open Q&A throughout the year.

A national network

Build relationships across states, specialties, and practice settings.

How it works

From application to lasting connection.

1

Apply online

Complete a short mentor or mentee application sharing your goals, interests, and experience.

2

Get matched

The Mentorship Workgroup reviews applications, pairs mentors and mentees thoughtfully, and introduces you with onboarding materials.

3

Meet and grow

Connect one-on-one each month and join quarterly group sessions for networking, education, and Q&A.

4

Continue or renew

At the end of the cohort, stay paired for another cycle or re-enter the pool to connect with someone new.
