AASPT 2025 Election
The future of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy (AASPT) is shaped by the voices and votes of its members. As we prepare for the upcoming election, it is crucial to take the time to learn about the process and candidates running for leadership positions. Below you will find information about our election timeline and rules as well as the individuals running for our open positions. These individuals will play a key role in guiding the academy’s vision, advancing sports physical therapy, and ensuring continued excellence in education, research, and clinical practice.
Election Timeline and Rules
Members in good standing will receive and email on Monday, March 3rd from our third party administrator, Election Buddy.
The election will open on March 3rd at 8:00 AM EST and close on March 7th at 11:00 PM EST.
Full PT Members and Full PTA Members will receive 1 (one) vote toward the election. Student Members are ineligible to vote in the election per our bylaws.
The ballot will include the following positions and voting options:
- Treasurer (Pick 1)
- Member At-Large (Pick 2)
- Nominating Committee (Pick 1)
Below you will find information for each candidate within each category. Again, the ballot will come to you from our third party administrator, Election Buddy on Monday March 3rd at 8:00 AM EST.
