Attendee Service Agreement
By registering, you agree to the terms below.
1) Registration and Eligibility
Your registration is personal to you and grants access to official event sessions and activities included in your pass type.
The Organizer may refuse or revoke registration for any cause (for example misuse, unsafe behavior, or policy violations) with notice.
2) Payment and Invoices
Payment is due at registration unless otherwise stated.
Unpaid registrations may be canceled.
Any discounts must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retroactively.
3) Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions
All requests must be emailed to [email protected] from the email used to register.
Refund schedule (based on the event start date):
• 100% refund until 30 days out
• 50% refund until 14 days out
• 0% refund inside 14 days
After the 14‑day mark, substitutions only are allowed at no charge if requested by email before the event begins. No‑shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.
4) Program Changes and Force Majeure
The Organizer may modify the agenda, speakers, format, venue, or capacity at any time. If the event is postponed, substantially modified, or canceled due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control (for example weather, strikes, public health events, government actions, or power/Internet failures, etc), your sole remedy is a transfer to a rescheduled event or a refund/credit, as determined by the Organizer.
5) Health, Safety, and Venue Rules
Attendees must follow all applicable laws, venue policies, and health and safety protocols in effect at the time of the event.
The Organizer may update protocols without notice to reflect current conditions or requirements.
6) Code of Conduct
Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behavior is prohibited.
The Organizer may remove any individual who violates this policy without refund.
7) Accessibility and Accommodations
To request reasonable accommodations, email [email protected] as early as possible (ideally at least 14 days before the event) so planning can occur.
8) Photography, Recording, and Likeness
By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by the Organizer or its designees and to the use of your image, voice, and name in event-related materials and media without compensation.
Personal recording is permitted only if it does not disrupt sessions or violate speaker or content‑owner rights. The Organizer may restrict or prohibit recording at its discretion.
9) Intellectual Property and Content Use
All session content, slides, and materials are owned by the Organizer, presenters, or their licensors and are provided for informational, personal use only.
Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of event content is prohibited without prior written permission from the rights holder.
10) Data Privacy
The Organizer processes registration and participation data to manage the event and related services. Limited data may be shared with venue, platform, and service providers under contract to operate the event.
If the event includes exhibitors or sponsors and you opt in (for example by badge scan or explicit consent), your contact information may be shared with that party under their privacy terms.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
11) Assumption of Risk and Release
Participation may involve travel and group activities. You assume all inherent risks associated with attendance and voluntarily release and hold harmless the Organizer, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims arising out of your participation, except to the extent caused by the Organizer’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
12) Personal Property
You are responsible for your personal belongings. The Organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
13) Travel and Logistics
You are responsible for your own travel, lodging, visas, and related costs unless expressly stated otherwise.
Check cancellation policies directly with travel providers.
14) Compliance and Remedies
The Organizer may take reasonable actions to enforce this Agreement, including revoking access, removing individuals, or declining future registrations.
15) Continuing Education (CEUs)
Attendance at the in‑person 2026 AASPT Annual Conference may be worth up to 14.5 contact hours (1.5 CEUs) for both Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists, subject to final session scheduling and completion of required assessments.
Athletic Trainers
AASPT is recognized by the Board of Certification (BOC) as an Approved Provider of continuing education. Approved Providers follow BOC Standards and Policies and Procedures and may offer Category A continuing education programs.
Physical Therapists
AASPT, as a component of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), offers courses accepted in many states and the District of Columbia. Acceptance is determined by each state’s continuing education regulations. Some states do not pre‑approve AASPT/APTA courses and may require licensees to apply for credit independently.
Because CE requirements vary by state and may change at any time, attendees are responsible for verifying current requirements with their state regulatory board. State board contacts are available through the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
Session‑specific CEU/contact hour values, required assessments, and certificate downloads will be available beginning Monday, July 13. All assessments, certificate downloads, and presenter‑provided handouts must be completed or downloaded by December 1, 2026. This CEU information reflects current guidance and was last updated 03.2026.
16) Entire Agreement
This is the entire agreement regarding your attendance and supersedes all prior communications on the same subject. If any term is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect.
